The first game had what...4 levels so I guess they decided to just release a whole new game instead of an expansion or downloadable content. O well what ever gets them money.

Posts: 12 Group: Members Member #53 Joined: Oct 28, 2009	well considering most here payed out the dick months or years on end for wow and warhammer I don't think a flat $40 is going to kill anyone. I bought with a few faggots the FAGGOT4 pre-purchase pack and will be sporting the servers I join with the all american baseball dick, BAT, i mean bat. I looked into it for a while before tossing money at it and while the gameplay will be just like L4D, it is a much, much more polished game from the weapons, to the location and the characters, to giblets, special and uncommon zombies, level design, AI and effects like weather/placement based on progress. Some of the ideas that convinced me to buy it were: 1)Approx 2k zombies killed per campaign, nearly double of the first game. (Higher zombie density, longer campaign chapters) 2)Weapons weapons weapons! Particularly melee weapons and I LOVE SHOTGUNS, that and the the melee electrical guitar is similar to mine, red with twin hums- FRYING PAN?! 3)New special infected (bosses), they are designed to separate teams, get people off the walls, and out of their camping spots if played effectively that plus++ #4 4)Two pronged objectives. Also an attempt to fix wall and corner camping, effective at that as after starting a large event, you have to trigger the close of that event or you will be flooded with neverending waves of zombies. 5)New ideas like weather limiting visibility with rain, fog, light haze etc, no glow, more open areas that force people to play as a team would and watch and listen closely while taking the virginity of EUGAAAAUUUGH s and many other things just make this game look appealing like being able to blow selective -sections- of organs away like parts of the chest while blowing off a zombie head, ammunition that catches flame, everything and more that left 4 dead has now with updates out of the BOX (5 new campaigns, vs, campaign, survival, and scavenger modes) ... Blah I'm stoked about it. I mean I get to kill more zombies... to some redneck sand ngr coonz playing banjo and violion in a run down ghetto/trailer park!!!! It don't get much better than that
